Prometheus Torque Gear Set

Hardened 18:1 gear set for Ver.2 and Ver.3 gearboxes

The Prometheus Torque Gear Set is a reinforced gear set with an 18:1 ratio. The torque-biased gearing pulls the piston back more calmly and above all sharpens semi-auto response. Its tooth count is laid out so the anti-reversal latch takes less load on every cycle.

Construction and accessories

The gears are machine cut and shot peened, which benefits both the surface and dimensional accuracy. The set is intended for Ver.2 and Ver.3 gearboxes and is rated for springs in the MS80 to MS110 range; stiffer springs are covered by the Double, Triple and Max Torque versions. Contents: sector gear, spur gear, bevel gear and a Prometheus shim set.
