Dboys

Metal where others use plastic – that is how Chinese manufacturer Dboys carved out its place among budget and mid-range airsoft brands. Many of its replicas come with metal bodies and furniture at a price point where polymer is the norm. The focus lies on automatic electric guns (AEG), with spring and gas-powered models filling out the line-up.

The K98 family has the most character: a sniper rifle offered as spring or gas version, in wood or plastic stock, backed up by shell cartridges, stripper clips and spare cylinders for proper bolt-action shell ejection. From the Eastern bloc come the AK74N, AKS-74N and compact AKS74U, some in steel and real wood, with the GP-25 grenade launcher as a companion. Western designs include the M4 CQB, SPR Mk12 Mod 1, 094 Carbine and tan Mk17 models with a 500-round magazine, while the 3in1 M203 launcher comes in short and long versions.
