Z-Tactical

A team that cannot hear each other loses, however good its replicas are. Z-Tactical exists to solve that problem: based in the Panyu district of Guangzhou, China, the brand develops communication gear for airsoft players – headsets, earpieces and push-to-talk units. Its research and development team combines engineers with experienced players, and the stated goal is communication equipment that also delivers proper hearing protection.

The line-up starts with active headsets styled after professional hearing protectors, neckband versions and a bone-conduction headset, plus the helmet rail adapters and silicone ear pads to go with them. The second pillar is PTTs: U94 and U94 II units, Z4 cables, the zSLX, COMBAT and Pelt series, military-style chest PTTs and zTac wireless buttons. Nearly every model is offered with different plugs to suit common radios with one- or two-pin sockets. An AN/PRC-148 dummy case lets a small handheld radio ride on a plate carrier with the right look.
